Before going into the cinema to see TED 2. I thought it would be boring and not as funny as the first TED, most movie franchises do end up that way. However, this wasn’t the case.
As right from the very beginning TED never failed to make everyone laugh, whether it be a small chuckle or a loud dog like howl, for a magic teddy bear, he sure does work magic when it comes to comedy.
John and Ted’s ‘bromance’ is highlighted in every scene throughout the movie, from weirdly sneaking into a famous sports persons house together, to then John bravely helping Ted prove he is a person in court whilst going on an awesome road trip during it, which certainly has its bumps in the road. John and Ted’s friendship truly is deep.
TED 2 covers it all, from Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride and I’m pretty sure the movie goes in that order also. Ted sure is a bad teddy bear that no parent would want their child to have in the fear of their kids being addicted to drugs and alcohol by the age of 6.
even though Ted and John truly are the walking, breathing definition of the 7 Deadly Sins. Without being so bad, TED 2 simply wouldn’t have been as comical a movie as it was.
Everyone working on the movie truly does deserve a round of applause for building such an emotional attachment between the audience and Ted himself.
The movie truly does portray that Ted might be a handful sometimes but is a loving, caring and cuddly teddy bear at heart and still manages to be a complete badass!
